Thoughts for the day.

"Do not unto others, what you would not have others do unto you."

I've been thinking these past several days, or for the past week, a simple intepretation of a word. 'Honour'. Pronounced simplisticly as 'on'-'ner'. To some, this words do not exist in their moral code, if, they have a code of morals of sorts in the first place.

As the dictionary would put it, I refer to the definition of Moral Behaviour which states Honour as the quality of knowing and doing what is morally right and also the meaning that Honour is a term used to promise very seriously that you will do something or that something is true. Honour is so simple a word, with a simple commitment attached yet all of us, are failing of it.

Yet, those without a strong moral behaviour are guilty of nothing, as they have professed and promised nothing and are only guilty of their own sins. The very worse, are those who claims to uphold the ideals of Honour and changes the meaning of Honour according to their whims and desires. Such people are guilty of the very worse behaviour of insulting, nay, Dishonouring, the very people who through their blood and sweat made the meaning of Honour possible.

Unfortunately, one is not finished here. There are those, who neither dedicate nor commit a moral stand on a subject for fear of political retribution. Who refuse to give a statement on correctness and justice while arrogating themselves to be fair and honest when evil runs amok. For those who say the world is a shade of grey, I firmly refute you. The world is coloured in black and white. It is the decadent, the immoral, the absolute filth who covers their heinous deeds in shades of grey.

There is no such thing as necessity. We always have a choice, a decision and this very thing, sets us apart from beasts. If you do not exercise your right to choose, your ability to resist oppression, you will be treated as such; as beasts, as animals, entered into servitude by your very own refusal to fight.

If anything else disgusts me more, it is the man who lets others shoulder his fighting and lives while they suffer. As Cicero once said, "Where is there dignity unless there is honesty?". Why lead a life, lying to yourself about the truth. There are always other ways of solving things, you have to search for it, trust in it, reach out for it and fight for it.

If 'Right' cannot be enforced through good will and morality. It shall be upholded By Force and Arms.

"The spread of evil is the symptom of a vacuum. whenever evil wins, it is only by default: by the moral failure of those who evade the fact that there can be no compromise on basic principles." - Ayn Rand
