Justice.

At what price?

A friend told me she was interested in the Jurisprudence, the theory and philosophy of law. I am very much interested in it but to me, what use is all the talk of morality and philosophy when violence and criminals run rampant?

I am not against the use of force to achieve means and ends vital to a greater purpose which benefits the greatest majority. I am against the use of violence in the most selfish and deviant interest, especially when used by gang warfare in Singapore.

Unlike the popular culture of the Mafia and gangsters who collect protection money and actually provide protection and maintain order, the local ruffians are involved in petty crimes and coffer no protection for they carry no arms and there isn't a feasible employment for a gangster in Singapore.

They recruit young people who are still schooling into their mob, they instigate them into fights which creates so little net worth and value for their so called "territories". The mob DOES NOT OWN A SINGLE PART OF THE GODDAMNED TERRITORIES unless they have purchased it and legally owned as a private property.

I would then be at a loss for words and I would have no argument against them enforcing against trespasses on their property because they rightfully own it. More often than not, they do not own any street or road. At most a coffee shop or shop houses but even then, they do not have the right to discriminate amongst the customers they serve unless the law permits them to do so and they have went through the legal channels and loopholes.

They threaten the very cohesiveness of society by advocating the use of violence to further one's ambitions, disrupting the peace and causing damage to property. Who will answer to the family of the innocent casualties of their petty conflict?

They are a misguided scum of society who deserve the death penalty. Death by firing squad without compromise. As with how Singapore judges illegal Multi Marketing Companies, we should do so with gangs.

Guilty by affiliation.
